And do you drive in it? If the answer is yes, then it is worth it. You don't have to set it up with a laptop either, there is a self learning mode on it. I've never plugged my unit into a computer, but if I did, I would get some cool info. Does it stay off most of the time? Yes, but I'm not going nuts trying to break every corner loose either. As for ease of use, you don't really have to do anything, other than use a dial. I wish it made noise, or had a light on it that flashed when it activated and prevented slipping. With the stereo on and the windows up, I can't hear it doing much. But I have tested it in the pouring rain and it is incredibly different! The car can beat anything on the road at the quarter mile, so long as it is raining out :)
